Morning Remembrance

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ

Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillah

Translation: We have entered the morning and the entire dominion belongs to Allah.

Evening Remembrance

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ

Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillah

Translation: We have entered the evening and the whole dominion belongs to Allah.

Ayat al-Kursi

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

Allahu la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum

Translation: Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.

Opening Supplication

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَىٰ جَدُّكَ وَلَا إِلَٰهَ غَيْرُكَ

Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika wa tabarakasmuka wa ta'ala jadduka wa la ilaha ghayruk

Translation: Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise. Blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no deity besides You.

Dua in Sujood (Prostration)

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَىٰ

Subhana Rabbiyal A'la

Translation: Glory is to my Lord, the Most High.

After Prayer - Istighfar

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ

Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah

Translation: I seek forgiveness from Allah (three times).

Before Eating

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Bismillah

Translation: In the name of Allah.

After Eating

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ

Alhamdulillahilladhi at'amani hadha wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah

Translation: All praise is due to Allah who fed me this and provided it for me without any strength or power on my part.

Entering the Masjid

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatik

Translation: O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
